    Buck-Gramcko Osteotome
    (just slightly modified)
    An improvement of substance
Prof. Dieter Buck-Gramcko, M.D., of Hamburg, Germany provided the inspirational impetus for this osteotome. Built proportional to the general tasks commonly encountered in hand or foot surgery, its 5 mm wide head sits solidly upon a tapering shaft expanding to an octagonal handle. Here is an osteotome to be rotated and manipulated with the comfort and confidence of a ball-point pen. Our pattern differs from earlier models you might still find from other suppliers. Its easy-to-hold handle is thicker and surgeons will find the hemispherical end forgiving of that occasional off center mallet blow.
