Semi-sharp contoured blades at each end of this instrument are shaped to approximate to the quadrants of the flexor tendon cross section. Convex leading edges capture and slice tendon adhesions. Shafts leading to blades conform to the natural curvature of the finger and alternately flex fore and aft to facilitate accessing either the palmar or dorsal aspects of the tendon surface.
