What's the best clamp for approximating those intermediate sized bones of the wrist and ankle?...
    Our Guarded Answer
Inspired by the popularity of its 56-1021 Bone Fragment Clamp, Buxton expanded the line to include a larger version. At 115 mm, the original clamp is fine for the smaller bones in the hand and foot, but larger bones can challenge its delicate design. This 150 mm long version, with its wider opening and a little more beef throughout its construction, is ideal for the bulkier bones of the hand, foot, forearm, wrist and ankle. Sharp points ensure positive fixation, while the guards, located about 2 mm behind the tips limit penetration and reduce the chance of splintering the fragments being approximated.
