Slim-Grip Curettes
Compact handles and angled heads offer comfort and performance
One complaint occasionally heard about the linen handled curettes currently on the market has been the size of the handles themselves. Large handles may be fine for osteotomes, gouges and elevators, but curettage, particularly delicate curettage of disc material is a procedure requiring hand and wrist dexterity. Oversized handles soon make this task tiring. The new Slim-Grip Curettes from Buxton feature handles 20% smaller than most alternate brands. The overall length of 275 mm is especially useful for surgery on those full-figured patients. Cup sizes from 000 to 6 are available, as well as heads which have been angled 45° forward or backward.
